Hey everyone, sorry that we’ve been MIA for a while.

A lot of you probably don’t know this, since my Dad was a very private person, but in December 2010 my Dad was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer and was undergoing radiation and chemotherapy at two separate times during last year. Unfortunately, he passed away on the morning of December 28th 2011. He fought hard and managed to survive for a full year after his diagnosis, despite being told he had two months at best. I am very proud of his brave fight and accomplishments, and I miss him greatly. We shared a similar sense of humor and were always laughing together. One of our jokes even made it into a Double Clicked Comic last summer when he took me to see Transformers 3. He was my best friend and taught me everything I know, including how to draw.

I thought I would share his tale with our readers, and apologize for the lack of regular comic updates – I took some time off from drawing the site a few times over the past year when my Dad was in the hospital or needed some extra help. While our schedule isn’t final yet, I can assure you that Justin and I will pick up where we left off and return with new comics soon, most likely by the end of the month.
